How I work
I'm Cláudia Senra, Clinical and Health Psychologist at Clínica da Vila. I work with children, young people and adults through careful listening and a cognitive-behavioural approach, a model that combines deep understanding with practical, everyday tools.
Beyond clinical practice, I hold specialist training in Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents and in Psycho-oncology, areas that allow me to support people going through moments of great vulnerability, whether in childhood, adolescence, or during cancer treatment.
I'm also a Certified Trainer with a specialisation in Work, Social and Organisational Psychology, which enriches how I look at the contexts each person lives in: family, school, work.
"Every person carries a unique story. My role is to create a safe space where it can be told, understood and rewritten."
I work with the conviction that psychotherapy is a collaborative process. I adapt each intervention to the person's age, life stage and goals, always taking care to make the appointment a place of trust.
